Pair of turquoise coffee mugs

This is a beautiful matched pair of coffee mugs. They are decorated internally with a pale turquoise glaze and on the outside is a spiral shell pattern reminiscent of an ammonite fossil embossed and highlighted with iron oxide.  The mugs inspire the feel and smell of the seaside, of beach combing and wildness.

Fitting nicely in the hand with a good sized handle the mug is pleasing to drink from.

These pots are dishwasher safe and food safe, although please take care, washing by hand is the best option. All my pots are made with stoneware clay body that is glazed and fired 1250C. This means that sharper edges can be susceptible to chipping if they’re bashed so please handle your pots with care. I personally always hand wash my handmade pottery and tend not to use them in microwaves. Remember, this isn’t mass produced factory ceramics, each pot is individual.
